Lift Up Our Community Chairlift Auction

Celebrate the legacy of Bretton Woods and our community with an opportunity to blend history and philanthropy. As part of our Lift Up Our Community initiative, inaugurated during our 50th Anniversary during the 2023-2024 ski season, we continue the celebration with a one-of-a-kind, retired Fabyan's Express Triple Chair being auctioned off starting Homecoming Weekend, November 29–December 1, 2024. Bidding is open through noon on March 29, 2025 when the winner will be announced during our Beach Party festivities. Little Macs Jamboree

Join us for the Little Macs Jamboree on Saturday, March 8. This race is for ages 4-6 years of age and all ability levels. Prizes will be awarded for best costume. Parent involvement required, a complimentary lift ticket will be provided to a parent or guardian to assist with children registered for the event in advance. Day of registration ends at 9:30am. Competition begins at 10am for carpet riders and 11am for chair lift riders. $50 registration includes a lift or carpet ticket, race and lunch. $35 registration for season pass holders, includes race & lunch. $10 for additional lunch. $15 rentals. 48th Mount Washington Cup Race

The 100-kilometer trail network at Bretton Woods is expertly groomed for classical and skate skiing making Bretton Woods an ideal location for Nordic Racing. Racing is a pastime on the grounds of the Mount Washington Hotel, where athletes and recreational skiers have come for decades to explore and challenge themselves on one of the largest trail networks in the east. Annually, the Bretton Woods Nordic Center hosts the Geschmossel, Bretton Woods Nordic Marathon and the Mount Washington Cup. Full Moon Uphill Ski Touring ( 3:00pm - 9:00pm )

This is a full moon uphill ski touring event open to the public and allows all disciplines - splitboard, telemark, and alpine enthusiasts. We will provide a bonfire and live music with a band in Stone Hearth. Uphill course begins at the base of Elmwood Lodge and takes you up the slope of Turnpike to Cardigan to gain the summit at the Patrol Hut. This event is for spectators and participants as participants try to ski or snowboard across a man-made pond without falling in. Some make it across the pond but many make a splash and take the icy plunge. The judges hand out prizes for Best Costume, Best Splash and Best Skim. Pond Skim Registration is from 8:30am to 11:30am outside the Valley Lodge. Event starts at 1pm. The entry fee is FREE but the purchase of at least a Valley Area Lift Ticket (and must be purchased in advance at patspeak.com) or Pats Peak Season Pass and a costume are required to enter the contest. The course will be a basic bump run with a kicker or two and potentially a rail thrown into the mix. Skiers will be judged on speed, style, and overall impression. Old school tricks such as Iron Crosses, Screaming Seamen’s and Daffy’s are highly encouraged! Here at Ragged, we appreciate the roots in freestyle skiing. We want to see what this generation of Freeskiers can do when they are put into a scenario where control and style reign supreme. Format: The course will be located on Lower Exhibition. Competitors will compete in a jam format and get as many runs as time allows. The contest will run from 12:00pm – 2:00pm. Ridiculous costumes encouraged! B.Y.O.D.C. means Bring Your Own Dry Clothes! End the season with a splash and come participate in our annual B.Y.O.D.C. Pond Skim on Saturday, April 6th! This fun and hilarious competition is open to all ages brave enough to attempt to cross our manmade pond at the base of the slopes. Wear your favorite costume and show us your swagger and pizzazz as you make your way across, but make sure your water skiing skills are up to snuff, or you could end up in the drink - that's where the dry clothes come in! Prizes will be awarded for Best Cross, Best Splash, and Best Costume, so dress to impress! All proceeds benefit the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction!
