Fall festival season returns with Attitash Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Attitash Base Area. Oktoberfest Packages, including Beer Tokens and a limited edition mug (while supplies last), are available online now with discounted pre-sale pricing through October 9. The event will feature live music by Crush, a Dave Matthews Tribute Band, as well as traditional Om-Pa-Pa music from a DJ. On Sunday, October 12, Mount Sunapee hosts its 9th Annual Duck Drop and Fall Bash, presented by Northcape Design. Cranmore Mountain Race ( 9:00am - 12:00pm )
This is a two lap up/down mountain race and is part of the historic USATF-New England Mountain Racing Circuit. Terrain surfaces include grassy ski slopes and gravel-y service “roads”. The course will feature one aid station at/near the START/FINISH area. Hiking poles are prohibited at this USATF sanctioned event. Commercial photography and/or videography at our events is strictly prohibited unless advanced permission has been granted. Please contact the Race Director for further information. The use of drones at our events is prohibited. Spectators wishing to take photos or videos must remain off the course at all times. No transfers. Refunds issued, upon request, up the start of the event. We’re very proud that this event benefits Ride NoCo. Ride NoCo is dedicated to building and maintaining mountain bike trails in North Conway. Oktoberfest at Whaleback! ( 11:00am - 6:00pm )
Celebrate autumn Bavarian-style at Whaleback’s Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11 AM–6 PM in Enfield, NH. This family-friendly festival will feature live music from Chris Powers, festive food and drink, local vendors, and activities for all ages. Adults can test their strength and skill in stein-holding contests, keg tossing and rolling, cornhole tournaments, and the Das Boot challenge, while enjoying seasonal drink specials and a special Oktoberfest beer menu. Halloween Town scheduled for Saturday, October 25 is designed to be a safe, entertaining way for kids to celebrate the spirit of this holiday. Hundreds of volunteers – Alumni of Camp Tohkomeupog, friends of Purity Spring Resort, and members of the Mount Washington Valley Community – combine creativity to bring this uniquely fun & fantastical experience to life. Halloween Town supports The Laura Foundation for Autism & Epilepsy. Bouncy House • Face Painting • Carnival Games • Story Telling • & More Over ½ mile of lighted pathways winding throughout camp! Trail features a series of spooky Halloween-themed cabins for trick-or-treaters to explore. The Trick or Treat Trail is designed to be appropriate for kids of all ages; little ones are welcome! Some parts of the trail are rumored to be haunted and may be scary for some kids. Some parts of the trail are dark and forested; flashlights & appropriate footwear are recommended.
