New Hampshire loves kids! Our members boast some wonderful kids programs, with lessons available for children as young as three available at many areas. Programs are catered to children's ages and abilities, and range from half- or full-day programs to season-long programs.
Bear Notch Ski Touring Center
Kids can take a lesson with mom & dad. Family Lessons are an hour and half. Trail pass is required, rentals are available at an additional fee.
Black Mountain offers a variety of full and half-day programs for kids ages 1 to 12 years old.
Tot Package (Ages 3 - 5) Get your youngster started right! Includes a 1 hour private lesson, rope tow lift ticket and rental equipment.
Black Mountain Alpine Ski Team (Ages 6-16)This seasonal ski program offers both an alpine race training program as well as an introduction to Alpine Touring.
The Hobbit Ski & Snowboard Programs at Bretton Woods are designed to introduce your kiddos to the fun of snow sports. Ample space and staff accommodate the growing demand for these popular programs.
Bretton Woods Nordic Center
The Youth Instructional Program at Bretton Woods is a fun program designed for young skiers ages 4-12 and includes instruction from experienced instructors. A trail pass or season pass is required for participation in this program.
The Cannon Mountain Snowsports School has excellent programs for kids that will keep kids engaged and excited about skiing and riding! Cannon Kids: Ages 4-7; Mountain Explorers: Ages 8-12; and Tykes: 3 years old only.
Cranmore Mountain Resort
KidsRule Mountain Camps combine the best practices of more than 120 years of teaching experience to offer a fresh approach to instruction, one where the skills and confidence go as deep as the fun and laughter. That’s what KidsRule Mountain Camps are all about.
KidsRule Mountain Camps are for children age 4-14. Five levels of instruction are offered: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Black. During your child’s lessons, we teach the four basic skills (balance, rotary, edging, and pressure control) through games and drills. We use more moderate terrain for instruction in order to develop strong movement patterns which will carry over in your child’s ability to ski/ride on more difficult terrain and conditions.
Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center

Dartmouth Skiway's Kinder Ski Program is for kids ages 4-6 and provides kids the opportunity to discover the joys of snowsports during an uncrowded time on the slopes. The goal of this program is to introduce/increase skills of young skiers in small groups taught by our professional instructors. The program is 6 weeks long with each session lasting 90 minutes. The Gateway Program offers kids ages 5-12 of a variety of abilities the opportunity to discover the excitement of downhill skiing in a fun and safe environment. This program, offered Saturday and/or Sundays, is recreational in nature, with a focus on improvement through increased skiing time as well as using an introduction to gates, brushes, and moguls along with other terrain features to build and reinforce skills. The program is designed to develop competent, safe and happy lifelong, with small classes grouped by age and ability taught by professional instructors. Each session is 2 ½ hours in length.

Eastman Cross Country
Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:30 pm. Join staff for ski lessons, tours and games. A great after school activity.
Great Glen Trails
Great Glen Trails is offering free season passes for kids ages 17 and under when that child’s parent or guardian purchases a season pass. A season pass at Great Glen Trails includes unlimited cross country skiing, as well as unlimited snow tubing! This offer can be extended to all children within the household.
For 1st through 8th graders, the Great Glen Bill Koch League meets Sunday afternoons from1:30pm to 3:30pm. BKL* Club is a weekly program that emphasizes the fun of skiing, making new friends, and learning and improving skiing skills.(*BKL: Bill Koch League, a regional youth ski program, is named after Bill Koch, the first U.S. Olympic medalist in cross-country skiing.) Great Glen's BKL program is led by 1984 Olympian Sue Wemyss.

Jackson Ski Touring Foundation
Toddlers and Tots; Tuesdays, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Starting in January. Free use of equipment including rentals skis, pulks (sled specifically designed to pull children behind a skier) and kiddy skis during the time period (based on availability.) A rental host will walk you through the rental and set up process and a ski host will lead child-paced tours on the trails closest to the touring center. More advanced ski families can take an extended tour.
Using entertaining tasks and games, our Knee-Hi kids learn by playing! From first time skiers through all-mountain rippers, our unique approach encourages skill development at all levels. Beginner Knee-Hi groups use an innovative team teaching method utilizing our central learning facility and gentle incremental terrain progression for quick and fun learning.
Loon Mountain Resort
You will find plenty of kids camps and programs to choose from at Loon. The Junior Scouts program gets 3 year-olds started; The Scouts program is for kids ages 4-5. The Development Team,a.k.a. the 'Dev Team,' is forkids ages 6 to 17 who are determined to master the mountain.
McIntyre Ski Area

Mount Sunapee Resort
Mount Sunapee has many fun programs and amenities designed to help teach your children the fundamentals of skiing and riding in a fun and exciting environment. Mount Sunapee's Learning Center is dedicated to all the learning programs offered on the mountain and staffed with top-notch caretakers and instructors to take care of your children. We offer group lessons and private lessons for children 3 years and up.
Amplitude Plus is Mount Sunapee’s newest seasonal program for advanced skiers and riders ages 8 - 15 looking to ski and ride all that the mountain has to offer.
Pats Peak offers a number of kids programs that range from one-day programs for kids of all ages to 3-day camps to kids' Seasonal Programs, which focus on fun, recreational skiing while incorporating skier/rider etiquette, safety, and mountain awareness.

Ragged Mountain Resort
Ragged Mountain offers an Adventure Camp for kids ages 4-12, where participants spend their time in a friendly group environment that makes learning fun. Half and full-day programs include breaks inside the learning center with snacks and hot chocolate provided.
Our Children Seasonal Programs are for ages 7-14. All of our programs are 10 weeks long and starts January 7th. Families can choose between half day programs on Saturday or Sunday from 9am-12pm. The last week of the program will include a fun race on Barnyard and pizza party! The Seasonal Program is for Intermediate and advanced skiers that are looking to refine their skills on a variety of terrain while having fun and making new friends.
Waterville Valley Adventure Center
Nordic Kids: This youth program for beginners is designed to share the fun of Nordic skiing with kids ages 5 to 12 by introducing techniques, playing games and having a great time on skis! Cost is $20 per session (includes trail pass, rental, instruction and a cup of hot cocoa).
