For some, when the last chair heads up the mountain or the last run of the day is over, it’s time to head home or back to the room to rest up. But for others, it’s time to switch gears and take advantage of all the ski area or ski town has to offer. “Apres-ski” can mean many things - from fine dining to s’more’s by a fire to rockin’ out to a great band.
There are apres-ski options for all ages. Here we’ve compiled a list to help you make plans for your night out.
The Lostbo Pub- Relax in front of giant windows or catch rays on the deck overlooking the mountain and horses. Apres ski specials and weekly live entertainment & beer promos from 3:30-5:30pm.
Slopeside Pub & Restaurant - After a day of skiing and riding the Slopeside Pub & Restaurant is the perfect place to relax in a classic post-and-beam setting with large glass windows to the slopes. Located on the upper level of the Base Lodge, the restaurant offers sit-down table service with a full food and drink menu. The Pub has a relaxed atmosphere with several large screen TV’s for viewing sporting events, a full bar and a wide variety of beers on tap. Après ski festivities are scheduled every Saturday and during vacation periods. Kid’s aged 4-12 get their own après experience with kid’s supervised après ski parties on the Heaven Level of the Base Lodge.
Cannonball Pub- You'll find a full bar pub menu located in the Peabody Base Lodge. The Pub is also host to apres ski parties and entertainment on most Saturdays.
Cranmore Mountain Resort
Zip's Pub & Grill- Located in the base area enjoy a full menu with table service.
Lookout Lounge-This is the place to watch the action on the mountain and enjoy your favorite drink! Featuring a full menu, many specials and entertainment on Saturday nights. Don't miss the Mountainside Brunch with a View every Sunday including the GG Bloody Mary Bar!
King Pine Ski Area
Trail's End Tavern- Enjoy great views of the slopes or watch family and friends during night skiing and riding while you enjoy a local craft draft or cocktail. Check out the live music entertainment Saturday nights and special dates during holiday periods too.
Paul Bunyan Room- Upstairs in the Octagon Lodge, it's the birthplace of apres at Loon! You'll find a lineup of 24 draft beers and don't forget to check out the Bunyan's Legendary Saturday Nights.
Babe's Blue Ox- You'll find Babe's in the upper level of the Governor Adams Lodge. On winter Sunday mornings, you'll find the signature Bloody Mary Bar. It's also a great spot to watch West Basin events!
Mount Sunapee Resort
Goosefeathers Pub- Goosefeathers Pub is located on the second floor of Spruce Lodge and is one of the locations at Mount Sunapee that serves alcoholic beverages. The Pub offers table service for lunch and an après-ski menu. Several big screen TVs are available for watching sporting events and après-ski entertainment on various weekends and holidays.
The Pub has a wraparound deck that features outside seating for sunny days with waited service.
The Sled Pub-Located on the second floor of the base lodge you'll find a full service bar and pub menu. Enjoy entertainment on weekends.
Ragged Mountain Resort
The Stone Hearth Bar- Located in the Ole Red Barn enjoy a Ragged Red Ale, brewed by The Flying Goose Brew Pub and a delicious flatbread. On weekends you'll find live entertainment.
Waterville Valley Resort
T-Bars- Located on the third floor of the Base Lodge, the Freestyle Lounge is a great place to unwind after a long day on the slopes. Enjoy a pint of 603 Exhibition IPA or a mug of hot cocoa while listening to live music every weekend.
Buckets Restaurant-Looking for something spicy? Try the "Death Wing Challenge" and earn your place on the Buckets Wall of Fame. If spice isn't your thing, they have you covered with a full menu. Enjoy live entertainment, movies for kids and raffles on Saturday nights.
