Bretton Woods- Winter Wild Uphill Race Series Championship

March 17, 2012 (All Day)

Winter Wild is an uphill race with a twist - the finish is at the bottom, so you get to come back down too! Grab your skis, grab your snowshoes or just grab your favorite winter running shoes and join us for some winter fun.

Winter Wild breaks the race into several categories: Open (stabilizers, running shoes, snowshoes, yaxtrax, etc), Track skis (lightweight skating/diagonal gear), Telemark (full metal edged skis with a 3-pin or cable binding) and Heavy Metal (alpine skis, Randonee bindings, plastic boots), but all competitors race side-by-side to complete a course of 2 to 6 miles in length. Competitors will race up challenging “Black” and “Blue” trails, then descend easier “Green” trails to a grand finish back at the bottom. Please visit to pre-register or register in person on race day.

NOTE: Race begins at 6am sharp!
