GOLFING AT NEW HAMPSHIRE’S SKI RESORTS

Through the years, golf has become the summer sport of choice for many skiers and outdoor enthusiasts. Golf courses at New Hampshire’s alpine and cross country ski areas range from some of the oldest in the country to newly built championship courses. Enjoy hitting the links at some of these most scenic areas of New England:

Bretton Woods features an 18-hole, par 71 and a 9-hole, par 35 championship golf course where golfers are sure to be challenged by the course’s impressive layouts while taking in the unsurpassed beauty of the Presidential Range rising beyond the fairways. The 18-hole Donald Ross designed course recently underwent major renovations. Guests can also enjoy the finest in amenities, including a recently built clubhouse with its own bar and restaurant.

Eastman Cross Country Center – Grantham, NH
Eastman is home to an 18-hole course set amidst towering pines and was home to the 2010 New Hampshire Golf Association Men’s State Amateur Championship. Several holes offer picturesque views. Ragged Mountain Golf Course – Danbury, NH

Enhanced by the spectacular scenery of the White Mountains, the course has been called a “Mountain Masterpiece”. The course has quickly become recognized as one of New England’s most challenging, designed to test the golfer’s ability and placement. Golfers rise to the challenge of the variety of shots offered by this course, as well as its rustic New England flavor with untouched stone walls, barn foundations and more than 40 bridges.

Sunset Hill House – Sugar Hill, NH
