WINTER INFORMATION:

Located just two hours from Boston, Waterville Valley provides plenty of activities for families. On the mountain guests will find gentle learning areas, wide intermediate trails, and black diamond bump runs. Exhibition Park and Little Slammer feature halfpipes, lots of terrain features, and rails. Kids of all ages can enjoy the Adventure Trail, featuring multiple routes through the woods with stops for bear caves, snow whales, a ski-thru sugar shack, hidden animal figures and more. Waterville Valley Resort was granted a permit allowing for the first major expansion of the ski area in over 30 years including construction of 44 acres of ski trails, glades and a high-speed detachable quad chairlift. In the resort village, you can walk from inns and condominiums to the classic Town Square, home to shops, restaurants, a cross country skiing and snowshoeing center, an indoor ice skating rink, sleigh rides, and a sports center with indoor tennis and swimming pool. Ski and Stay specials take place all winter, including Wicked Long Weekends that offer early check-in, free afternoon skiing on Friday, and an extra late checkout on Sunday.

SUMMER INFORMATION:

Guests can enjoy mountain activities or explore Town Square. Activities include golf, tennis, scenic chairlift rides, mountain biking, skateboarding, boating, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, swimming, ice skating and more. In Town Square there are live concerts on Saturdays and a full summer schedule of special events. “Summer Unlimited” packages combine local lodging with most of Waterville Valley’s activities. Summer skate camp offers overnight and day sessions. Visit www.waterville.com for package information. Visit www.wvskate.com for skate camp details.

Waterville Valley’s trail network winds through the White Mountain National Forest, using parts of the cross-country ski trail network, old logging roads, fire roads, single track and hiking trails. There's also plenty of road-riding available on miles of smooth roads winding throughout the valley. Suspension bike rentals are available, along with mountain biking packages which include bike rentals and use of the Snow's Mountain chairlift. Snow's Mountain offers a variety of downhill and cross country mountain biking routes, all served from a double chairlift. Hikers and bikers can both use the lift.
