SUMMER INFORMATION:

Visitors to Franconia Notch State Park can ride the Aerial Tramway or enjoy the sun at Echo Lake Beach. The Tramway takes visitors up 2,180 vertical feet to the summit of Cannon Mountain to enjoy panoramic views of four states and Canada. Located at the summit are a cafeteria, walking paths and an observation tower. At the base is a cafeteria, gift shop and bike rentals. Located adjacent to the Tramway base is the New England Ski Museum and Franconia Notch Recreation Path. Guests can also enjoy the Flume Gorge, The Basin, and the Old Man of the Mountain Historic Site, all located in Franconia Notch State Park. Other activities include picnicking and canoe and kayak rentals at Echo Lake Beach.

WINTER INFORMATION:

Cannon is an easy drive up and accessed directly off I-93 in breathtaking Franconia Notch State Park. The 4,080-foot summit nets snow when other mountains may get little or none – it’s called the “Cannon Effect.” No matter where you are on Cannon – taking lessons in the Tuckerbrook Family Area, testing your legs in the bumps on the Front 5, riding the Tram, or making your own adventure at Mittersill – everyone in your family can find something to call their own. Uncrowded lift lines make it easy to enjoy over and over again!

Become part of a mountain the entire family will value, and you’ll be the next to proudly declare, “I am Cannon.”
