Bretton Woods

Work on your skiing or snowboarding goals with a personalized 3.5-hour private lesson. Available for up to four participants ages 7 and older, The Half Day is perfect for beginners or those looking to refine their skills on the steeps, in the trees, or anywhere in between. Lessons are offered daily and start at 9am.

Pricing does not include lift ticket or rental equipment. All participants must be skiing or riding at the same level. Bookings must be all skiers or all snowboarders, not a combination. Two short breaks are planned during lesson.

Bretton Woods

Perfect for first-time skiers and riders, this package includes a two-hour group lesson, ski or snowboard rental, and a lift ticket to the Learning Center Quad. Designed for ages 13 and older, these lessons focus on basic movements to get you started on the slopes. Lessons are available Friday-Sunday and select holidays.

Bretton Woods

Enjoy a personalized ski or snowboard experience with Private or Semi-Private Lessons. Available for ages 4 and older, these lessons accommodate one to four participants and are tailored to meet individual needs and goals. Lessons are 90 minutes.

Cannon Mountain

Cannon Mountain’s Junior Development Program is designed for skiers who wish to take a lesson every weekend with the same instructor. The program offers a progression for young skiers looking to develop their skills on all types of terrain and to maximize the recreational experience. The Junior Development program is available for skiers ages 3-4 years old, and 5-14 years old. 

We offer groups for first times to advanced and dynamic skiers. Our dedicated instructors work diligently to create a fun and safe learning atmosphere that cultivates age appropriate social and athletic growth while providing individualized attention within a structured group format to foster a lifelong love of snowsports. Junior Development Program is based out of the Brookside Learning Center at the Peabody Base Area, exit 34C from I-93.

Great Glen Trails

We love introducing people to this incredible sport. With our world-class instruction in our ski school and consistently upgraded rental fleet, we will provide you with the skills and equipment you need to enjoy a day out sliding on the snow. Skate skiing can be your “go-to” winter exercise but a starter lesson is a must. Maybe you’ve been classic skiing for a while watching others zoom around on skate skis? Just enroll in an all-inclusive lesson package and try it out for yourself.

One learn to skate ski lesson package INCLUDES:

Great Glen Trails

If you’ve never skied before or can’t remember the last time you went cross country skiing, then a Learn-to-Ski Lesson Package is a perfect place to start. We begin with an introduction to the equipment, practice some techniques indoors if necessary, then go outside onto the snow to slide around and work on balance, diagonal striding, and introducing poles.

A Learn to Ski Lesson is 1 hour and 15 minutes and includes a trail pass and ski rental for the day. Lessons are offered at 10:00 am, 11:30 am, and 1:00 pm daily. Reservations recommended.

Designed exclusively for first-time skiers and snowboarders, this package includes a one-and-a-half hour Group lesson, rental and a surface lift ticket. Bebe Wood Free learn-to-Ski or Ride Program

Our Bebe Wood Free Learn-to-Ski or Ride Program is available everyday Monday through Sunday this winter (excludes holiday black-out dates of Dec. 26-31, 2024; Jan. 18-19, 2025; and Feb. 15-17, 2025.)

This program is a fun and easy way to learn without any risk to your wallet. 

• 3 lessons for first-time snow sport athletes only, ages 13 and up. ALL 3 LESSONS MUST BE COMPLETED THIS SEASON
• If you have previous skiing or snowboarding experience, we are happy to book you in a Private or Group Lesson instead!
• Includes Rossignol rental equipment and Lower Mountain Lift Ticket.
• Lessons run for approximately 2 hours, starting at 10:00am and 1:30pm.
• After your lesson, keep practicing for the rest of the day complimentary.
• Purchase a Mission: Affordable season pass for the remainder of the season for only $79 - following the completion of your third lesson.
• Additional Group Lessons for the current and following season are 25% off for program graduates.

Waterville Valley Adventure Center

Ranked by USA Today's Readers’ Choice as the best Cross-Country Ski Resort on the East Coast, the Waterville Valley Adventure Center is the Nordic ski hub of the Northeast.

We are a full-service retail and rental shop, offering Nordic skis, snowshoes, fat bikes, and pulk sleds. Over 70+ km of trails are accessible directly from almost anywhere within Waterville Valley. Trails are also accessible from the Alpine Ski Resort. Trails traverse deep into the White Mountain National Forest and are groomed for skate and classic skiing. Snowshoeing is welcome on any trail and fat biking is welcome on select trails with the purchase of a trail pass. Dogs are also welcome on select trails.
