New Hampshire Loves Kids! Our members boast some wonderful kids programs, with lessons available for children as young as three available at many areas. Programs are catered to children's ages and abilities, and range from half or full day programs to season-long programs.
Bear Notch Ski Touring Center
Kids can take a lesson with mom & dad. Family Lessons are an hour and half. Trail pass is required, rentals are available at an additional fee.
Black Mountain offers a variety of full and half-day programs for kids ranging in ages from 1 to 12 years of age. Click on the link for more information.
The Hobbit Ski & Snowboard Programs at Bretton Woods are designed to introduce your kiddos to the fun of snow sports. Ample space and staff accommodate the growing demand for these popular programs. Bretton Woods Nordic Center
The Youth Instructional Program at Bretton Woods is a fun program designed for young skiers ages 4-12 and includes instruction from experienced instructors. A trail pass or season pass is required for participation in this program.
The Cannon Mountain Snowsports School has excellent programs for kids that will keep kids engaged and excited about skiing and riding! Cannon Kids: Ages 4-7; Mountain Explorers: Ages 8-12; and Tykes: 3 years old only.
Cranmore Mountain Resort
KidsRule Mountain Camps combine the best practices of more than 120 years of teaching experience to offer a fresh approach to instruction, one where the skills and confidence go as deep as the fun and laughter. That’s what KidsRule Mountain Camps are all about.
KidsRule Mountain Camps are for children age 4-14. Five levels of instruction are offered: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Black. During your child’s lessons we teach the four basic skills (balance, rotary, edging, and pressure control) through games and drills. We use more moderate terrain for instruction in order to develop strong movement patterns which will carry over in your child’s ability to ski/ride on more difficult terrain and conditions.
Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center

Dartmouth Skiway's Kinder Ski Program is for kids ages 4-6 and provides kids the opportunity to discover the joys of snowsports during an uncrowded time on the slopes. The goal of this program is to introduce/increase skills of young skiers in small groups taught by our professional instructors. The program is 6 weeks long with each session lasting 90 minutes. The Gateway Program offers kids ages 5-12 of a variety of abilities the opportunity to discover the excitement of downhill skiing in a fun and safe environment. This program, offered Saturday and/or Sundays, is recreational in nature, with a focus on improvement through increased skiing time as well as using an introduction to gates, brushes, and moguls along with other terrain features to build and reinforce skills. The program is designed to develop competent, safe and happy lifelong, with small classes grouped by age and ability taught by professional instructors. Each session is 2 ½ hours in length.
Dexter's Inn Trails by Norsk
Kids aged 5 or younger can ski or snowshoe free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Eastman Cross Country
Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:30 pm. Join staff for ski lessons, tours and games. A great after school activity.
Winter Youth Program: lessons are one hour, once per week for 6 or 8 weeks. Students can ski or ride one hour before or one after their scheduled class time with their winter youth program ticket.
Great Glen Trails
Great Glen Trails is offering free season passes for kids ages 17 and under when that child’s parent or guardian purchases a season pass. A season pass at Great Glen Trails includes unlimited cross country skiing, as well as unlimited snow tubing!
With season passes, families can spend as little as an hour at Great Glen Trails or fill an entire day with adventure. In order to be eligible for the free child’s season pass, their parent or guardian must purchase a pass. This offer can be extended to all children within the household.
Gunstock Mountain Resort

King Pine at Purity Spring Resort
Using entertaining tasks and games, our Knee-Hi kids learn by playing! From first time skiers through all-mountain rippers, our unique approach encourages skill development at all levels. Our groups average a student-instructor ratio of 4:1, and beginner Knee-Hi groups use an innovative team teaching method utilizing our state-of-the-art learning facility and gentle incremental terrain progression for quick and fun learning.
Loon Mountain Resort
You will find plenty of kids camps and programs to choose from at Loon. The PK Boo program gets 3 year-olds started; the Burton Riglet Park Experience gets kids ages 3-6 snowboarding in a fun and playful environment. The Kinderbear Skiing program is for kids ages 4-6, and Discovery Camps place kids ages 7-12 in groups of similar abilities. Kids ages 10-17 who want to improve their park and pipe skills should take part in a Park & Pipe Progression Camp.
McIntyre Ski Area

Mount Sunapee Resort
Mount Sunapee has many fun programs and amenities designed to help teach your children the fundamentals of skiing and riding in a fun and exciting environment. Mount Sunapee's Learning Center is completely dedicated to all the learning programs offered on the mountain and staffed with top-notch caretakers and instructors to take care of your children.
Explorers is for children ages 8 -12 and is for both new and experienced skiers and riders. Mountaineers is for children ages 4-7 and is also for both new and experienced skiers and riders. Amplitude+ is for young groms (advanced skiers/snowboarders) ages 8-15. This is Mount Sunapee’s newest seasonal program for advanced skiers and riders looking to ski and ride all that the mountain has to offer. Last year we introduced our new Teen Tracks program for ages 13-15. This program offers the same structure as our other children programs but is geared for the older age group.If you are looking for more personalized training the Learning Center also offers private lessons for children ages 3 and up.

Ragged Mountain Resort
Ragged Mountain offers an Adventure Camp for kids ages 4-12, where participants spend their time in a friendly group environment that makes learning fun. Half and full-day programs include breaks inside the learning center with snacks and hot chocolate provided.
Our Children Seasonal Programs are for ages 7-14. All of our programs are 10 weeks long and starts January 7th. Families can choose between half day programs on Saturday or Sunday from 9am-12pm. The last week of the program will include a fun race on Barnyard and pizza party! The Seasonal Program is for Intermediate and advanced skiers that are looking to refine their skills on a variety of terrain while having fun and making new friends.
Waterville Valley Adventure Center
Nordic Kids: This youth program for beginners is designed to share the fun of Nordic skiing with kids ages 5 to 10 by introducing techniques, playing games and having a great time on skis! Cost is $20 per session or $170 for all 10 sessions (includes trail pass, rental, instruction and a cup of hot cocoa after our ski).
Waterville Valley Resort
Our Kids Venture Kamps make skiing and snowboarding fun for all ability levels, ages 3-12. Kamps are conveniently located in the base lodge and include lessons, lunch and snacks; rentals are available.
For season-long Camps, check out all of our Seasonal Programs, which are available for kids 4 thru 16 years old, who already ski or snowboard, starting at the lower intermediate level. We offer different programs geared toward certain age groups and within those groups, we might have different groups based on skill development and intensity level.
Youth Sunday Clinic for ages 6-14. This Clinic is scheduled over 7 Sundays to allow flexibility for any 6 of those sessions. This program is designed for the beginner through the advanced skier. Learn the basics or develop your skills. Invite your friends and have a blast!
Belugas Pre-K Clinic (for 3–5 year olds) - Get your little ones up and going, and they’ll be passing you by before you know it! This five-week clinic offers group lessons with an instructor for every four children! Choose between the Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday clinics. Windblown's youth ski club will meet every Sunday at 1 o'clock (starting in January). Sign up at email@example.com or come into the ski shop. Children from 5-17 are welcome to join, but 5-7 year old munchkins are required to have a parent ski with them.
The cost: Age 5-7 $3, Age 8-17 $12, Adults $12 (adults not participating in the program, but skiing and dropping off children pay $16); which includes a trail pass, instruction and games. Participants are led through basic instruction to advance skating technique. Games, games, and more games, all on skis, will be part of your afternoon.
