Pond Skimming

End the ski season with a splash! Skiers and riders attempt to cross the man-made pond at the base of King Pine on the final day of the season. Skim or swim, Hawaiian shirts, vintage one-piece ski suits, shorts, and fun costumes recommended and applauded. Let's party! Yurt Yoga

Gunstock Outdoor Center is excited to present Yurt Yoga! Come join our elite Gunstock Yoga Instructors every Sunday from 9am-10:15am for a yoga class designed to relieve your body of the impact of the work week. Optimized for both locals and travelers of various skill levels, our Yurt Yoga is a transformative experience. This class will implement traditional Hatha yoga with focus on lengthening and strengthening the muscles, while incorporating slow flow and holding some postures for a moderate length of time. Class begins with grounding (meditation) and ends with savasana (complete relaxation) with the overall goal being to elevate the awareness between the physical and energetic body connection. Yurt Yoga will meet in, you guessed it, the Yurt! That small, funny-looking building right next to the Outdoor Center on the right side of the road coming into the mountain. Class fee is $15. We provide all the necessities for this yoga class, just bring yourself, your mat if you have one (if not, we do!), and water! Please park in the parking lane behind the Outdoor Center. More Info

Tele Sunday

Free your heels, free your mind, and learn some new skills in our Telemark ski workshop, held weekly on Sundays throughout the month of March from 10am-12pm. Our certified nordic trainers will help get you beyond your comfort zone as you try new things, learn new techniques, and smile your way down the mountain! Available for both adults and kids ages 9-14. Rentals and lift ticket included. For ages 9-14, this program will be a full day program run out of the Children's Center and will include lunch. Hosted by pro snowboarder Pat Moore, Methodology is all about speed and style. This banked slalom course adds a new element of competition with a double-sided hip after the finish line, allowing riders to shave time off of their run with their best Method Air. And here's the best part: 100% of the proceeds from Methodology go towards building the Lin-Wood Skate Park. Speed & Style Methodology is for snowboarders, with both Men's and Women's classes in the following age groups: Groms (15 and Under) Open (open to all ages), Ladies and Gentlemen (30 and older). Each division will compete for awesome prizes from Methodology's sponsor. In addition to the race there will be prizes for best method, best trick, and many more, so there are many chances to win! All riders must sign a waiver and have a valid lift ticket or season pass. More Info
