Apres Ski at Lostbo Pub

Candie Tremblay will be performing from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM at our a·près-ski event in the Lostbo PUB at Black Mountain Ski Area in Beautiful Jackson, New Hampshire. Whether you're just getting off the slopes, or in the area, swing by for for a nice cold beer or cocktail, and grab a bite to eat, while enjoying the music of Candie Tremblay. Candie harmonizes beautifully with her ukulele as she plays rock, pop, indie and reggae songs to soothe the soul. More Info

Bretton Woods Nordic Center

Learn to Nordic Ski Free Week

Sunday, January 6th through Friday, January 11th is Learn to Nordic Ski Free Week. Reservations are required and must be made 24 hours in advance as space is limited. Nordic lessons are offered daily. Please call the Bretton Woods Nordic Center at (603) 278-3322 to make your reservations, all packages are based on availability.

  • One group lesson (55 minutes) on classic technique 
  • All-day trail pass 
  • All-day rental equipment
  • Invitation to a Skiers’ Barbecue in March 2019 at the Bretton Woods Base Lodge
  • Explore The Woods Discount Card, which includes special benefits for the 2018-19 season including 10% discount at resort retail outlets, 20% off Nordic trail passes, rentals and lessons for the remainder of the season.

Capture the Flag at Nordic

Choose your faction and get in on this new offering at the Omni Mount Washington Resort’s Nordic Center. We have divided the Ammonoosuc Trail System into four subdivisions for the winter. It is up to you to see which team will reign supreme. Venture to the furthest reaches of our 100km trail network to take flags from the opposing factions. Discover new territory as you travel across one of the nation’s premier Nordic Systems in search of glory for your faction!

Bill Koch League

For 1st through 8th graders, the Great Glen BKL* Club is a weekly program that emphasizes the fun of skiing, making new friends, and learning and improving skiing skills.

(*BKL: Bill Koch League, a regional youth ski program, is named after Bill Koch, the first U.S. Olympic medalist in cross-country skiing.)

The Club meets Sunday afternoons from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Head Coach: Sue Wemyss, Great Glen Ski School Director, 1984 Olympian, over 25 years teaching & coaching skiers

Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides

Enjoy the classic experience of riding among surrounding fields and within wooded trails in a horse-driven sleigh. A unique winter fun outing for families and friends of all ages. Back by popular demand, we’re extremely excited for our second season of our women’s clinics taught by our wonderful instructor, Jane Henry! You’ll learn all the skills you need to become proficient in all aspects of Classic and Skate Cross-Country Skiing in these 1:30 hour clinics.

Gunstock Outdoor Center is excited to present Yurt Yoga! Come join our elite Gunstock Yoga Instructors every Sunday from 9am-10:15am for a yoga class designed to relieve your body of the impact of the work week. Optimized for both locals and travelers of various skill levels, our Yurt Yoga is a transformative experience. This class will implement traditional Hatha yoga with focus on lengthening and strengthening the muscles, while incorporating slow flow and holding some postures for a moderate length of time.
