Muster in the Mountains A weekend of colonial reenactment comes to the Auto Road

Friday, Saturday & Sunday - September 6, 7, & 8, 2019 This event features a colonial encampment of reenactors representing the French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, and Mountain Man periods from 1750 through 1840. This gathering will take place in the fields at the base of the Mt. Washington Auto Road in beautiful Pinkham Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Participants demonstrate the use of appropriate tools, clothing, and firearms from their respective time periods. This event is free and open to the general public with the hope that the education they receive here may spur them on to consider becoming a future participant. Open to the public: Friday and Saturday from 10am – 4pm, Sunday from 10am – 1pm. Please, no dogs. The Auto Road remains fully open during this event. Activities will include: 1800 firearms/cannon display and competition Woods walk competition Tomahawk and knife throwing Cooking competition Weaving, basketmaking, quill work, candle dipping Gunsmithing, coppersmithing, blacksmithing Archery, wood carving, century games and more! PAUL LETARTE XC INVITATIONAL

Hosting 20 high schools for the first meet of the season in honor of Berlin’s Cross Country coach, Paul Letarte, who passed away in 2011. Free for spectating! Trails CLOSED FOR BIKING until 1:00pm. More Info

Yoga With A View

Do something for you while taking in the view! Join a 60–minute yoga class at Mount Sunapee’s 2,743’ summit starting at 10:30am. Hike to the summit or ride the Sunapee Express chair. Every Wednesday (June 26th – August 21st) and Saturday (June 22nd – October 5th), weather permitting. $20 per class More Info

Mountaintop Yoga

Enjoy a peaceful chairlift ride to the summit of Gunstock with your friends in the fresh morning air. Take in the majestic views of Lake Winnipesaukee and surrounding mountains as far as the eye can see, while breathing, moving, and meditating. This is all about elevating your mood, improving your flexibility in a beautiful, natural setting, and starting your day feeling centered. These weekly sessions are for everyone but geared toward beginners: they include only the most basic poses and moves, and will leave you feeling loose, relaxed, and ready to approach your day with a sense of great intention! Please arrive for class no later than 8:45am, as the Panorama chairlift loads participants at 9am. Class wraps up at 10am and includes a lift ride down the mountain as well. A LIMITED number of yoga mats are available for guests to use, however, we strongly recommend bringing your own mat to this popular class. Drop-in rate for each class is $20. More Info

Moonlight ZipTour

Take zipping to the next level with this Moonlight Zip Tour! Tour includes a scenic chair lift ride to the summit prior to sunset where guests can enjoy the best view in the Lakes Region, games, light fare, and one complimentary beer or wine (additional beverages available for purchase). At dark, the tour zips through the night sky, ending at the base of the mountain where a bonfire, s’mores, and hot chocolate await. Tour begins with check-in at 5pm. Meet at the Welcome Center 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time to check-in. Moonlight Zip Tour participants must meet the following requirements: Be at least 10 years old. Be between 4' to 6'8" tall. Weigh between 50 and 260 lbs. Children ages 10 and 15 years of age must be accompanied on the Zip Tour by a participating parent/guardian. Wear appropriate footwear. Loon Mountain Resort

Loon Peak Yoga

Board the scenic Gondola Skyride to the 2,733-foot summit of Loon Peak, where you'll take part in a special 60-minute yoga session from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., guided by a local instructor. After class, you're free to enjoy our summit adventures as long as you like. Explore a maze of cool glacial caves, stroll a short nature trail, or climb the summit observation tower for a 360-degree view.
