Telemark Clinic and Demo Day
The good folks from Telemarkdown will be here onsite and providing Telemark Demos.
Now's your chance to try something new and experience Mt Tecumseh in a brand new way!
Come take a telemark skiing clinic taught by Waterville Valley Resort’s own certified Telemark instructors! It will be a two hour group clinic starting at 10:00, meeting in the Courtyard uphill from the Private lesson meeting signs. Cost is $23 for the two hour clinic. Lift ticket and any needed equipment is extra. Space should be reserved through the Snowsports desk by calling 603-236-8311 x 3136.
The Clinic is aimed at Telemark “never evers” and also Nordic/Alpine/ Snowboard crossovers to introduce Telemark and teach the basics of equipment and technique. If anyone needs to rent equipment, Top Dog rentals has a very limited amount of Telemark gear, so call and see if we have the sizes you need, or there are other shops in the area that rent Telemark gear. (Cross Country gear should not be used.)
Telemark is unique in its linkage to all the other Snowsports disciplines. Regardless of their primary activity, 2 hours on Telemark gear will allow participant to see the mountain through a new set of goggles.More Info

Gilson Snowboards Demo Day
Join us for our Bretton Woods Demo Days this winter! At these demos, skiers will be able to test the newest gear from vendors such as Rossignol, K-2 and Armada. See below for a full list of brands.
The best part is that these demos will be right on the snow; so no need to get off the slopes! Just visit the demo area next to the canopy tour building at Bretton Woods for a custom fit set of skis (and sometimes boards) and an opportunity to discover a new favorite. Use of demo skis at these events are complimentary and skiers will be required to fill out and sign a release form.
Please check back for updates as more demos are added.
