Guest Train Engineer Program 

Learn to Operate the Steam-Powered J.E. Henry Railway at Loon Mountain

If you've ever dreamed of conducting a steam locomotive, then Loon's Guest Engineer Program was made for you.

The Guest Engineer Program gives train enthusiasts a chance to learn all about Loon's German-built 0-4-0T engine, which runs along the resort's J.E. Henry Railroad.

Wetlands Walk Workday

Fall color is seeping into the Wetlands Walk area at Gunstock and the weather forecast is showing a beautiful day on Thursday, October 4th! We're looking for volunteers to help us work on the handicapped accessible boardwalk and nature trails at Gunstock Mt. Resort.

Tasks range from simple ones to carpentry. We will work from 9am-1pm and then enjoy refreshments. If you can help and want to eat, please email by Oct 3rd or call the Belknap County Conservation District office at 603-527-5880. Otherwise, you can show up to help or to take a look. Helpers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Salomon Fall Trail Running/Walking Series

A weekly trail race series for all abilities and ages. Every Thursday for six weeks racers can run or walk the mini, short or long course any time between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. Placement awards in each category. Competitors who complete 4 out of 6 weeks are eligible for the prize raffle at the end of series awards party. More Info
