Annual Ski Swap

09:00 to 13:00
This is your chance to clean out the garage, basement or attic of your good, but not needed XC ski and snowshoe equipment. Bring your slightly used ski equipment and accessories to Jackson Ski Touring the week of November 6th through the 10th from 8-4pm if you would like to include them in our swap. There is a $1.00 registration fee per item. When your item sells, the foundation will retain 15 %, the balance will be paid to you by check once the event is over. More Info

Bigger & better than ever! Franconia Ski Club will hold their annual Ski Swap at Cannon Mountain in the Peabody Base Lodge on Saturday, November 11th. Buy or sell new or used ski & snowboard equipment and clothing. With so much more room this year, vendors will be bringing in more inventory for you to choose from. Equipment dropoff is 5-8pm Friday night, the swap is from 8am to 1pm Saturday. 30% of sales supports the Club! More Info

3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off


Admission Fees:

  • $12 per person
  • $5 for veterans and children under 12
  • $25 for families (up to two adults and four children)

If you want to enter your chili:

  • Pre-register your chili (no cost) in the cook-off at:
  • Bring a minimum of 3 quarts of chili in a crockpot with serving spoon
  • Provide garnishes and sides to accompany your chili
  • Every chili entered includes one adult admission (so you can sample and judge everyone else's)
  • If applicable, bring marketing materials (brochures, menus, business cards, etc.) to advertise your organization

Award Categories:

  • Best Restaurant / Caterer
  • Best Non-Profit
  • Best Individual
  • Best Overall (whoever receives the most votes overall)

Winners in each category will receive free Whaleback day tickets and the grand-prize winner will receive a free season pass!

Live music by Jim Hollis. Cash bar available to help quench your thirst! There will also be a raffle for downhill ski equipment.

Judging is from 4:00-6:30 pm, winner will be announced at 6:45 pm.
