At Echo Lake Beach, visitors can enjoy the beauty of a 39-acre lake with an excellent view. The slopes of Cannon Mountain ski area drop right to the edge of the lake, and the view highlights where the Franconia Range and Kinsman Range meet, creating the notch. Kids can enjoy the thrill of a Go Kart ride in the specially designed Kids Go Kart Park. Located in the side parking lot of the Bretton Woods Ski Area, the oval dirt track is loads of fun in one of our large-tired Go Karts. The Slopeside Climbing Wall is a 624-square foot indoor rock climbing wall, located on the Slopeside level of the Bretton Woods Base Lodge. The 30-foot climbing wall ascent includes a variety of routes on modular hand holds and artificial rock. For an alternative activity that keeps you a little closer to the ground, the 300-square foot bouldering cave complements the climbing wall and makes for a fun afternoon, no matter what the weather is doing outside! Gunstock Mountain Resort
Gunstock Mountain's Off-Road Segway Tour lets you explore the trails of Gunstock in an entirely new way. What is a Segway? It's a 2-wheeled, self-balancing personal transporter. To move forward or backward, the rider just leans slightly forward or backward. To turn left or right, the rider simply moves the LeanSteer frame left or right. Kids and adults can test their climbing skills at Mount Sunapee on the giant 24-foot tall Climbing Wall. Each participant is in a harness and clipped into a self-belay (no need to have someone anchor you on the ground).
