Spend Family Time on the Slopes this February!
It’s all about family time in New Hampshire this February. Vacation week is the perfect time to take a much-needed break and get in some family fun on (and off) the slopes. NH ski areas have a plethora of events for you and the kids to enjoy this week and in the weeks to come. In addition to skiing and riding, you’ll find many off-snow activities including tubing, zip lines, canopy/treetop tours, fat biking, and more to keep you busy this February. We’ve pulled together a sampling of the fun activities you can take advantage of this February vacation.

Black Mountain
Affordable lift tickets and a full schedule of family fun events and apres parties can be found at Black Mountain during the February vacation and all season long!

Bretton Woods
Hit the slopes at Bretton Woods with activities that will keep you smiling this February! February Fun Break (February 17- March 5, 2017) brings all sorts of spirited events including a winter scavenger hunts and games, movie matinees, cookie decorating and apres parties just for the kids! Powder & Pasta- Join in the snowy fun during night skiing from 4 - 8pm at the Bretton Woods Ski Area. After you finish playing in the snow, head to the Slopeside Pub for a delicious pasta dinner. Dinner from 5 – 8 pm. The Omni Mount Washington Resort is also host to a full schedule of winter activities.

Cannon Mountain
Cannon is host to Family Fun Nights on Saturday nights. The Huckerbrook Mini-Park is open under the lights for just $5. There’s a bouncy house in the Peabody Lodge and movies in the Brookside Lodge for kids. The Cannon Pub is open for adults with live music and fun
promos. On February 18th and 25th enjoy fireworks and a torchlight parade. Check out all the Vacation Week Values at Cannon!

Cranmore Mountain Resort
Cranapalooza - it’s a festival! On Saturday afternoons guests will enjoy a variety of fun family events throughout the resort in addition to snow tubing.  The Mountain Coaster, the Giant Swing and Soaring Eagle zip line operate until 9pm. Cranmore is open for skiing until 6pm on Saturdays and vacation periods. Full-day lift tickets are valid on those dates for the extra two hours at no additional cost, or buy a Twilight lift ticket for just $44 and ski from 2pm until 6pm! There’s family entertainment all week with crafts, bingo, s’mores, games, karaoke and 

Granite Gorge
First and foremost, February Vacation Snow Camps are back! They will be happening Wednesday through Friday (Feb. 24th through Feb. 26th). Campers will ski or ride with an instructor, go snow tubing and have lots of fun! All campers get a complimentary hot chocolate and snack – you must provide your own lunch. For the two vacation weeks in February 2017, starting the 20th,  Granite Gorge has some great special events and deals!

Gunstock Mountain Resort
In February, take part in the Skiers Only Park Event! If you’re looking for something a bit more on the romantic side, there’s a Valentine's Paintball Biathlon at the Nordic Center on February 19th. Also, the Cobble Mountain Snowshoe Classic is taking place on February 26th. A Grom Jam Park Event will also be taking place on February 12th, when skiers and snowboarders (fifteen and under) will showcase their abilities and battle it out in a shred fest!

King Pine Ski Area
King Pine Ski Area has been hosting family vacationers for years. The King Pine Winter Carnival begins on Monday the 20th for the week. You can enjoy sleigh rides, snowshoe tours, Silly Slalom & Belly Bag Races, family challenge races, a Gold Rush, and Kids’ Fun Race. Fireworks light up the sky over King Pine on Thursday night and the Kids Light Parade takes place Friday night. Every kid can take part in a fun race during the day, then continue the fun at the Saturday Night Family Races.

Loon Mountain
Loon Mountain is planning a fun week filled with exciting events for the whole family. Make the most out of our February Vacation Events by lapping the Burton Progression Park at night during Fluorescent Nights. A ticket is required, even for New England Pass holders. Looking for a totally unique family apres experience? Join us on Thursday, Feb. 23rd for Snowshoe & Smores. A night ride up the chairlift to mid-mountain and take a guided snowshoe tour to our rustic Camp III Lodge. Feast on delicious hors d'oeuvres, hot cocoa, and s'mores around a crackling fire. When you're ready, you'll snowshoe back down the mountain under a starry sky. 

McIntyre Ski Area
The 2nd Annual Retro Race will be taking place on February 18th!  

Mount Sunapee
It’s always a great time at Mount Sunapee with their events and in their Goosefeather‘s Pub with loads of live music for your Après fun during February vacation!

Pats Peak
Saturday Night POP Goes February Vacation!(Pay One Price) is only $49 and includes skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, rental equipment, lesson tips and entertainment. Check out the Sled Pub for all the Après-Ski Entertainment with events, live music, and beer promotions too!

Ragged Mountain Resort
Swing by Ragged Mountain Resort to compete or spectate the USASA Rail Jam on February 18th! Enjoy rock and other funky rhythms at the Stone Hearth Bar. From the deep comes the Shrimptunes on 2/18 and 2/19. Check out and enjoy many other events and live music after a long day of skiing! Ragged Mountain Resort will host a USASA Ski and Board cross event for the entire weekend of March 4. Pre-registration required. Be sure to stop by the bottom of the course to cheer these athletes on!

Waterville Valley Resort

You will see in their events calendar on February 18th, try out the latest in Nordic technology from Salomon/Atomic and wax from Swix. Also, check out the Women’s Clinic on the same day! Includes ski passes, ski and boot demos or high-performance rentals, coffee, goodies, lunch, yoga class and you will be qualified for specials on gear at the Nordic Center. Finally, check out the Granite State Snowshoe Championships on March 5th, the culmination of a season-long racing series!

Enjoy the 28th Annual Chocolate Festival, "The Sweetest Day on the Trails", on February 26th! Chocoholics cross country ski or snowshoe the trails to enjoy chocolate prepared every way imaginable. Chocolate dipped strawberries, chocolate fountains and fondue, brownie sundaes, and chocolate cookies of all kinds are just some of the treats you'll enjoy at the trailside stops between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.
